Ann Little Began by designing special occasion dresses and wedding gowns for family and friends.  After she had won several blue ribbons at county fairs and sewing contest, the demand grew larger leading to the decision to open Ann’s Bridal Shop in Morrilton in 1968.  Ann's was the only known Bridal shop between Fort Smith and Little Rock at this time.

 

Business began in meager surroundings, with only a sewing machine, cutting table and $200 cash, working from her home in Morrilton.  Involving the entire family; Mike growing to take care of the photography needs operating Mike Little Photography and Bobbye’s Wedding Creations from 1970 until mid 2011.  Debbie “Little” Cook, Ann’s daughter recalls assisting with setting up weddings and floral arrangements and sales in elementary school. She now owns Ann & Mike’s Russellville location.

 

As the business grew and times changed the business moved from their home to a small building in Morrilton operating in this location into the late 1970’s.  The Russellville Location opened on 2nd Street in the mid 1970’s as Ann & Mikes Operating two locations until the Morrilton store was closed in the late 70’s.  Re-Opening the Morrilton store in 1981 as Bobbye’s Wedding Creations by her daughter-in-law Bobbye Little.  Which was closed in April 2011 due to health complications.  The Russellville Location Moved to its current Location 807 E Main in the mid 80’s.   

 

After surviving ups and downs in the economy, and ever changing trends in the formal and fashion markets. Unfortunately Ann was forced to retire in 2006 after health complications and a stroke.  She credits her success mostly to her family and friends.  She also has a special feeling for each of her customers and enjoyed helping them with their special day.
